The 'Eua Solar Photovoltaic Plant project provides a system with 200 kWp nominal power consisting of photovoltaic (PV) modules, mounting structures, foundations for the mounting structures, PV grid inverter, distribution boxes, grounding, fuses, connections and monitoring device according to the existing interfaces and conditions. The system will have a power control unit that controls the generated PV power to realise a maximum reduction in fuel consumption of existing diesel generation sets. The control unit will ensure that diesel power is generated in relation to actual demand.

The Solomon Islands Electricity Access and Renewable Energy Expansion Project (SIEAREEP) (Phase II) (the Project) will comprise the following three components, which are described in more detail in Section 3 – Project Description:
 Component 1 – Hybrid mini-grids
 Component 2 – Connections to low-income households
 Component 3 – Grid-connected solar PV power

Fiji Electricity Authority’s Annual Report for 2016 incorporates a detailed summary of its operations and activities including the Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2016.

FEA recorded a profit after tax of $59.6M as compared to a profit after tax of $39.7M for 2015. This represented an increase in profit of around 51% compared to the previous year despite incurring the TC Winston restoration costs of $30.1M.

The report provides a detailed summary of FEA’s performance in accordance with Section 25 of the Electricity Act Cap 180.

FEA recorded a profit after tax of $39.7M in 2015 which turned around the performance of 2014 where it recorded a profit after tax of $0.9M despite the El-nino weather pattern of a prolonged spell of dry weather continuing in 2015. There have been no comprehensive energy vulnerability assessments conducted for any of the Pacific islands in the nineties, whether under US. flag or independent nation. In fact, there have been only a handful of comprehensive analyses of the energy sector in the Pacific islands.

Preface - This publication contains the result of the 2005 Household, Income, and Expenditure Survey (HIES) that was conducted in the last quarter of 2005 in the CNMI. The publication is organized into two parts and three appendices. 

The Tokelau 2015/16 Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) was implemented over a ten-month period from May 2015 to February 2016. This report is the first generated output of the HIES and it includes information on the survey, interpretation and analysis of the data, and an appendix of key expenditure and income tables.

The 2015/16 HIES, implemented by the Tokelau National Statistics Office, adopted the regionally standardized HIES methodology that was developed by the Pacific Community (SPC).
