National action plan and strategy on clean and modern cooking services for Sao Tomé and Príncipe

In Sao Tome and Principe (STP), most of the population lacks access to sustainable cooking services and relies heavily on firewood and charcoal. In 2019, indoor air pollution from these solid fuels was identified as the third leading cause of death and disability in the country.
