We intend to award a contract for the following project activity:
Development of a Strategy for the Solar Energy Corridor under the West Africa Clean Energy Corridor (WACEC) Initiative.
The present assignment is part of the cooperation between GIZ and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) in the framework of the regional project ‘Improving the governance of the RE and EE sector in West Africa’, which is jointly financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).
The assignment will be implanted in framework of The West Africa Clean Energy Corridor (WACEC) initiative, which was launched by ECREEE, in collaboration with IRENA aims to support the development of utility scale renewable energy-based power and integration of renewable energy sources into the West African power systems.
