Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director (ED), the Sustainable Energy Expert (SEE) provides leadership in the establishment of the technical program and portfolio of projects for the CCREEE during the first operational phase and the Centre. In this role, the Expert will provide the foundation for the RE Expert and EE Expert, and will coordinate their work in order to optimize the synergies that are possible within the technical program of the Centre. The SEE will also provide technical assistance to program managers and technical officers at the national level with the establishment of country level programs and projects for RE and EE. The sustainable energy expert will coordinate his/her activities closely with the Energy Unit of the CARICOM Secretariat, as well as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and SIDS DOCK. Through a reliable and dedicated approach to excellence, as well as commitment to team work, the expert is expected to contribute significantly to the quantity and quality of programs and projects implemented within the Region and, in particular, to the design and success of flagship projects.
