March 2019: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Syria and RCREEE signed a cooperation agreement to implement capacity-building activities for Syrian Experts.
Accordingly, RCREEE will provide a number of training covering various topics like how to assess the Electricity network status and means to reduce losses in the generated electricity power. Besides, the training topics shall include installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar systems for lighting and water supply with special mentoring and career development support for female trainees.
This comes as part of the second phase of “Training for All” program launched by UNDP Syria in 2017.
“Training for All” program aims to enhance and further develop the capacities of Syria Electricity sector to deliver essential services to affected local communities and to support the re-habitation of productive infrastructures. In its second phase, the program gives special attention to enhancing technical and planning at local and national level.
