Fiji Electricity Annual Report - 2016

Fiji Electricity Authority’s Annual Report for 2016 incorporates a detailed summary of its operations and activities including the Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2016.

FEA recorded a profit after tax of $59.6M as compared to a profit after tax of $39.7M for 2015. This represented an increase in profit of around 51% compared to the previous year despite incurring the TC Winston restoration costs of $30.1M.

The report provides a detailed summary of FEA’s performance in accordance with Section 25 of the Electricity Act Cap 180.

FEA recorded a profit after tax of $39.7M in 2015 which turned around the performance of 2014 where it recorded a profit after tax of $0.9M despite the El-nino weather pattern of a prolonged spell of dry weather continuing in 2015. Urban Energy in Fiji - A survey of Suva's household, industrial, and commercial sectors (1987)

This study was undertaken to analyze the use of energy in the household, industrial, and commercial sectors of urban Suva. It involved surveys of 1011 electrified households, 301 nonelectrified households, 76 industrial establishments, 77 commercial concerns, and 10 large office buildings. The surveys included questionnaire-based interviews, examination of premises, and the study of the records of consumption maintained by users and suppliers of energy.

Strengthening the Fiji Bio-gas Programme - A study for the Fiji Department of Energy (2006)

The following captures a compilation of reports on an assessment of the existing biogas program in Fiji in 2006.   A Biogas Expert from AGAMA Energy, a South Africa consulting firm was recruited by the Fiji Department of Energy to undertake the assessment of the Biogas Programme and also develop appropriate frameworks for implementation for local use.
