Call for proposals for the construction of a 20 MW PV power plant and two 1 MW hybrid mini-grid systems in Guinea Bissau

 
To implement the Guinea Bissau Sustainable Energy Investment Plan, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau received funding from the West African Development Bank (BOAD) to construct a 20 MW photovoltaic power plant near Bissau and two 1 MW mini-plants in Gabu and Cachungo. The African Biofuel and Renewable Energy Company (SABER-ABREC) on behalf of the Government of Guinea-Bissau requests the submission of proposals by eligible candidates who meet the requirements for the the following work.

The development of the basline and tariff studies for the mini-grids is being supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) under the GEF Project "Promoting Renewable Energy Investments in the Electricity Sector of Guinea Bissau".
