On the eve of COP 28, the importance, and challenges of decarbonizing the global economy are more topical than ever. In this regard, green hydrogen represents an essential lever for decarbonization. Green hydrogen is a promising solution for decarbonization due to its potential to store renewable electric energy in a non-polluting chemical form which can easily replace conventional fuel use in sectors such as industry and mobility.

Its clean production, versatility and energy storage role make it a promising solution for meeting environmental challenges and accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future.

ECREEE in collaboration with AGH2 (African Green Hydrogen Partnership SA) are jointly organizing a webinar that will serve as a platform to address these various issues, challenges and prospects for green hydrogen in Africa.

The specific objectives of this webinar are:

  • Promote international collaboration.
  • Reinforce Africa's decarbonization objectives.
