RCREEE discusses cooperation opportunities with H.E Minster of Electricity and Energy in Yemen

December 14, 2021: RCREEE Team headed by Executive Committee Chairwoman, Eng. Maha Mostafa and RCREEE Executive Director, Dr. Jauad El Kharraz held a meeting with a delegation from Yemen headed by H.E Minster of Electricity and Energy in Yemen, Dr. Anwar Mohamed Kalashat, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Mr. Abdulhakim Fadhel, and Director of Renewable Energy, Ministry of Electricity and Energy in Yemen and Chairman of RCREEE Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohamed Hamid Al Shaabi.

During the meeting, RCREEE presented its project and activities in Yemen and explored opportunities for RCREEE to continue supporting Yemen green energy transition.

Moreover, in appreciation of the Ministry’s continuous support to RCREEE, H.E Dr. Anwar Kalashat received RCREEE appreciation trophy. Yemen joined RCREEE member states since its establishment in 2008 and currently holds the presidency of RCREEE Board of Trustees (BoT).
