CTCN Regional Forum for National Designated Entities (NDEs) from Africa Jointly with UNEP - DTU

CTCN is organizing its Regional Forum for Nationally Designated Entities of Africa, jointly with UNEP- DTU, TNA project for National Coordinators of Africa Region, on 09-10 April 2018, in Nairobi, Kenya.  The Regional Forum is during the Africa Climate Week, along with the Africa Carbon Forum. During this Regional Forum, CTCN would be inviting NDEs from 47 African countries, TNA coordinators for Phase 2 countries, select network members and NDEs countries. CTCN is also supporting the NDEs to participate in the Africa Carbon Forum (11-13 April); for full week.  In this context, it is proposed to organize a one-day Technical Expert Meeting (TEM) focusing on Industrial Energy Efficiency in Africa during the Africa Carbon Forum. CTCN is willing to bring in experts / NDEs to share their experience on the topic, drawing on from the various technical assistance request on industrial sector in Africa. It is further proposed that the one-day Regional TEM could be organized either on the 12th April 2018 along with (just after) the Ministerial meeting or on the 13th April 2018.
