Under the newly signed framework agreement between RCREEE and United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Pan Arab - Certified Energy Management Professional (PA-CEMP) program organized its first session dedicated for Syrian experts during the period 19-26 April 2019 in Beirut, Lebanon.
PA-CEMP round comes as part of a series of training programs planned for a number of Syrian experts to contribute to building the technical capacities the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

PA-CEMP is a professional certification program endorsed by the Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministerial Council of Electricity in their 32th session on May 31, 2016. RCREEE in collaboration with the Secretariat (Energy Department) of the Council of Electricity Minsters of the League of Arab States developed PA-CEMP as a standardized in-depth professional certification program for Energy Mangers tailored for the Arab region. Currently, PA-CEMP program is organized simultaneously in three Arab Countries (Egypt, Libya and Jordan). It aims to assist EE policy makers and program administrators in planning and implementing Energy Efficiency plans and related measures and achieve energy targets.
