Are you a Startup developing or deploying renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions? Submit your application for the EAC Cleantech Hub Training and Capacity Building Program. This program will provide training, mentorship, and practical tools to accelerate your growth and contribution to the region’s clean energy transition.
Who Can Apply:
- Startups and SMEs working in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
- Based in or operating across one or more EAC Partner States (Burundi, DRC, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda).
- Focus areas may include renewable energy and energy efficiency technology deployment, clean cooking, productive use of energy, sustainable mobility, energy storage, green hydrogen, and sustainable use of critical minerals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Early-stage to scaling-stage startups.
- Proof of concept or prototype is preferred for early-stage applicants.
- Teams with strong representation from youth and women.
- Demonstrated commitment to contributing towards sustainable energy access and efficiency.
